Prenatal Massage has become a vast attraction for dedicated licensed massage therapist interested nurturing the constant population of expecting mothers through their power of touch. Explore and learn cognitive and conceptual aspects of prenatal massage so that you can:
- Explain how prenatal massage benefits the expecting mother physically and emotionally
- Gain an understanding of pregnancy related complications and their symptoms that would contraindicate massage therapy
- Distinguish the physiological changes that take place in each system of a woman’s body during pregnancy, and how each of those changes dictate modifications in a standard massage routine
- Practice prenatal massage techniques for performance comfort

one large(long) pillow and
one short pillow
-Body towel and 2 hand towels
-Lubricant of choice (unscented)
-Note taking tools
