ERT Pain Free Deep Tissue 

This course provides students with a solid understanding of basic and advanced principles of Epi-Fascial Release Techniques (ERT). Epi-Fascial Release is a targeted, gentle process, which focuses on full or partial release of muscles in spasm. ERT provides specific training for MT’s to approach patients fascial restrictions in a unique and specific way.
The practical component of this course consists of training based on methods that were developed over the course of a 17-year massage career along with 3 years of professionally teaching massage in California. This course provides the student with the knowledge and skills to:
• Explain the concepts of Epi-Fascial Release Techniques
• Identify Epi-Fascial structures
• Demonstrate the application of Epi-Fasical Release Techniques to a competent level
• Develop and apply professional Epi-Fascial Release skills associated to therapeutic treatments
• Conduct a ERT session as an addition to an established routine or as specific spot treatment to chronic or acute fascial restriction.
The benefits to your clients are endless, they experience immediate relief from pain, a continued unwinding of fascial tension, and increased ROM in targeted areas.
The benefits to you, the MT are deepening your practice with touch awareness, extending your massage career by shifting out of heavy pressure and into fascial connecting, training to approach the body in a different way, bringing in a holistic view of the body from a science based perspective, and a deep understanding of the intelligence of the fascia and how to use fascia to your benefit as a new or seasoned MT.
Participants bring: table set up, sheets towels, bolster/pillow, note taking materials (devices or pen and paper), no oil needed
Please wear comfortable clothes. ERT is applied through the sheet, clothes, and on skin- we will be exploring all of these applications during the class.
