Demystifying NMT – Spine

We are following the governor’s mandate and the guideline established by the GA Board of Massage Therapy

Neuromuscular Therapy(NMT) is a very powerful tool for taking your sessions to the next level.
This class takes the complicated details of NMT and distills them into a few memorable lessons that make them easier to understand and incorporate into your current practice.

This is a great introduction if you’ve never used NMT and a great refresher if you have studied it in the past.

Spine – 12 Hours

These conditions include but are not limited to:

• Several common headaches
• Torticollis
• Military neck
• Thoracic Outlet Syndrome
• Anterior/Lateral Pelvic tilt
• Low back pain
• Mid-back pain
• Postural issues
• Sciatica
• Compressed Discs

Specific anatomy will be discussed as well as assessment techniques and corrective strategies

There will be a lecture each day followed by a demonstration and a hands-on trade.

Supplies

• Bring sheets to cover massage tables (We provide the massage tables)
• A lubricant of choice (Cream or lotion) Do Not Bring Oil Based Products
• Wear comfortable gym clothing
