Gwinnett College was founded in July, 1976, by its past president Ruby B. Jackson. Since its founding Gwinnett College has grown by leaps and bounds. In 2003, the college was approved to begin offering academic associate degree programs. We now offer 11 different programs in the medical, legal, business, and massage fields.

Rising Spirit was founded in 1994 and was originally known as New Life Institute School of Massage Excellence. In January 2001, the name was changed to reflect the expanding vision the founders had for the school. In 2006, the school was acquired by Gwinnett College. Since then, medical assisting and medical office administration were added to our course offerings. We look forward with anticipation as we combine two outstanding programs.
