Turnau Method of Integrative Bodywork 60 Minute Alignment (TM-60) Level 1

Course Description
The Turnau Method of Integrated Bodywork- 60 Minute Full Body Alignment  (TM-60) assists with releasing habitual body/skeletal patterns acquired from stress, trauma and / or inherent misalignment from birth.  The Turnau Method reduces postural gripping and pulling of the skeleton by unlocking muscle groups and their relationships, thus improving body alignment, reducing pain, and increasing range of motion.

TM-60 is intended to be practiced as a one hour session, with a long-term treatment plan that based on postural analysis and individual client history. TM-60integrates techniques of deep tissue, pressure point work, and muscular unwinding techniques.

Practitioners use the tools of the TM-60 to reduce client pain/inflammation and chronic holding patterns by lengthening over-compensating, contracting muscles and tendons. By focusing a release at attachment sites the muscle tissue relaxes and communication with the nervous system is stimulated. Over the course of multiple treatments, the client begins to re-balance and strengthen naturally between visits.
